Hidden away in touristy Union Square in back of a Lori's Diner is The Beer Zone. The Beer Zone features over 100 beers with many on tap (sorry I don't have the details).

The Journey Has Started

Introduction;

My name is Jon and I have lived in SF for a little over 4 years now. I am originally from Southern California (Anaheim to be exact) so moving to SF was a big move for me. For the past 4 years my wife and I have been exploring SF like tourists and learning about the history of the city. One of the things that we have grown fond of is visiting different bars, having a beer or a cocktail and taking a few pictures.

In May we decided we needed even more encouragement to get out and about so we started our SF Bar Trip Through The Alphabet. We started with A and will go to one bar starting with each letter of the alphabet in order. I will be writing and posting pictures of our journey as well as any other bar we happen to go to.
